About Our Furniture
- What type of wood do you use?
- All Meraaki Living furniture is handcrafted from pure teak wood. We do not use engineered wood, MDF or veneers. Teak is one of the world's finest hardwoods, known for its exceptional durability, natural lustre and ability to age beautifully over decades.
- Is teak better than sheesham for furniture?
- Both are respected Indian hardwoods, but we work exclusively in pure teak, and for good reason. Teak contains natural oils that resist termites and moisture without any chemical treatment, it moves far less with seasonal humidity, and it ages into a deeper, richer glow. Teak costs more than sheesham, and the decades of extra life are what you are paying for.
- Why are prices not shown on the website?
- Every piece is handcrafted and most can be customised in size, finish and upholstery, so the price depends on your exact specification. Add pieces to your inquiry list on the website, or call +91 70189 86215, and our team will share detailed pricing promptly.
- What style is your furniture?
- Our furniture is inspired by classical Victorian design, characterised by ornate craftsmanship, rich silhouettes and timeless elegance. Each piece is designed to bring a sense of grandeur and warmth to your home.
- Can furniture be customised?
- Yes. Almost all of our pieces can be customised to your exact specifications: dimensions, wood finish, upholstery and carving detail. Visit our showroom in Mohali to discuss your requirements with our team.
- How long does a custom order take?
- Timelines vary depending on the complexity of the piece. Our team will give you a clear timeline when you place your order. We believe great furniture is worth waiting for and we never rush our craft.

- Do you deliver across India?

- Where is your showroom located?
- Our showroom is at Plot 1540, JLPL Industrial Area, Sector 82, Mohali, Punjab 140306. We are open daily, 10am to 8:30pm.
- Can I buy your furniture in Chandigarh?
- Yes. Our showroom in Sector 82, Mohali is a short drive from any part of Chandigarh, and we deliver across Chandigarh, Panchkula and the wider Tricity. Browse the catalog online, add pieces to your inquiry list, or book a showroom visit to see them in person.
- Do you offer an interior design consultation?
- Our team is happy to guide you on what pieces will work best for your space. Visit our showroom and bring photos or dimensions of your room and we will help you put together a look that feels cohesive and considered.
- What areas do you serve locally?
- We serve customers across Mohali, Chandigarh and Panchkula directly from our showroom, with delivery available across India.
Quality and Care
- How do I care for pure teak wood furniture?
- Teak wood is naturally low maintenance. Wipe with a soft dry cloth regularly and avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or moisture. For deeper care, teak oil can be applied once or twice a year to maintain its natural lustre. Full care guidance is available on our Teak Wood Care page.
- Is teak wood furniture worth the investment?
- Absolutely. Pure teak wood furniture, when properly cared for, lasts generations. Unlike mass-produced furniture that deteriorates within years, teak strengthens and deepens in character with age. It is not just a purchase, it is an investment in your home.
